RGL Electronics manufacture a range of Linear Power Supplies for the Security industry that relates to the EN50131-6 Type A Power Supply standards for Intrusion Systems Grades 1-4.

The design is a microprocessor based intelligent unit providing all the facilities that are required to meet the standards and offer the installer a range of options depending on load output and standby battery requirements.

The design offers a comprehensive fault diagnostics of the Power Supply, an LED indication plus alarm signals (through on board voltage free change-over contacts) are generated in the following instances:
Mains Fail (Separate Alarm Relay - Timed Delay).
  • Mains Fail (Separate Alarm Relay - Timed Delay).
  • Fuse Blown
  • Battery Missing
  • Low voltage battery

In addition to the above the range offers the following features:

  • Low/High voltage indication (LED only).
